Introducing my most recent Hat "Work at Home Boomers" for the Work at Home Enthusiasts It's a hat that I have worn on and off many times through the years, but more often recently and hopefully more permanently in the near future. |
While being employed full time, through the years I would often dab in work at home possibilities. Some were somewhat fruitful while others were definitely lessons in life.
I tried several work at home hats, mail order sales, Avon, sewing, dabbed in mixed media art and did some bookkeeping for several years.
The last few years I have been busy setting up websites, my own as well as helping others with Weebly site creator.
I find Weebly very easy to work with, they have several theme choices, different page and application set-ups, many apps to choose from as well as a great support system if needed.
While putting a site together I get to use my creative hat, which for me is totally enjoyable.
My most recent venture is to become a self published author. So I've been writing and learning more about self-publishing.
I find that blogs, articles and journaling are all great writing exercises.
So what is your passion? What do you enjoy doing? Could you turn your niche into a Work at Home Business?
Remember that in life or in business you must take action and work toward achieving your dream because only action will bring you results and only you can make this happen.
Through 2016, I will share with you tidbits and information on steps, products, resources, articles and more, to hopefully inspire and help you in the launching or growing of your Work at Home Business.
Suggestion: Start writing down your business ideas, sources you come across or other related thoughts that come to mind. Write them in a note book, on your lap top, phone or any place that fits your life style. It's important to have a reference point so you don't forget all those great ideas.
I personally use a spiral note book and if I use the recorder on my phone, those notes are transferred to my spiral note book. Keeping all the notes and ideas together makes them much easier to find.
I welcome any questions, sharing or comments you may have.
