Being Grateful!

This is the season to make Time and be Grateful for all that we have.
We may feel that some of us may have more, but more of what?


​Take time to think and make yourself a list of what you are grateful for.  This list does not have to be long or complicated but it should be from the heart.  A list that can be changed when needed, a list of gratefulness that should be carried daily.

Regardless of what is going on in our lives, we all have people, experiences and even stuff that we can give thanks for. Being grateful is like a smile, a compliment or a simple thank you, it is easy to give, share and receive.


So make your list and check it twice, you will be grateful you did.

Being Creative vs Artistic​

Of the many hats I like to wear, I was recently questioning; which one would be my best fit?
I came across this great article regarding the difference between our Artistic and Creative Abilities. 
I realized that the Creative Hat is my best fit.  It encompasses all of my interests: writing, being artistic, sharing with others what I know, and at times finding solutions to problems, and many more.
You may also enjoy reading What is Your Branch of Creativity? 
If you are doing things that make you happy and you feel good, it will reflect on how you live your life. 
You may be wearing a creative hat more often than you realize.  Food for thought!

Juicing vs Smoothie Cure

​If like me, you are not big on juicing because of the pulp waste, these fruits and vegetables can definitely be used in your daily smoothie.
Remember the thickness of a smoothie is a choice, it all depends on the appliance you are using and the amount of liquid you add.
For example the fatigue recipe:
My carrots and beets are partially cooked, I use some of the beet or carrot cooking water for my liquid and the lemon is also in juice form.  The spinach can be fresh or frozen and my apple of choice is usually Fuji.
All of these flavors blend very well together and make for an enjoyable smoothie drink.
My personal opinion is that a good healthy smoothie should have 2 or 3 of each, vegetables and fruits plus a tsp. combination of wheat germ, flax seeds and/or chia seeds. 
At times I'll even introduce a fresh slice of ginger or a sprinkle of cinnamon.
For extra creaminess you can add some plain yogurt.
The whole idea of a smoothie is to try different healthy combinations that you will enjoy.
