 Sharing | Sharing Choices A few days ago I went to the ".99 Store". I go there from time to time mostly for their fresh produce. Grant you the fruit and vegetable choices will vary from visit to visit but they do make a great addition to my daily smoothie. |
As I was choosing my produce, I noticed a young man carrying his skate board that looked like he probably had not washed for days. He pulled a pack of wieners from the refrigerator area and went on his way.
While I stood in line at the register I noticed the same young man paying for his package of wieners and a drink. I was leaving the store with my 4 bags of produce in hand and again noticed this young man sitting on the curb eating his cold wieners from the package.
I put my bags in the car and grabbed a few dollars from my wallet debating if I should go back in the store and buy him a few groceries or simply give him the money. I decided to hand him the money making the choice his on how the money was to be spent.
He smiled and thanked me.
As I was getting in the car to leave, he was reentering the store.
