To Set Goals or Not?
A Goal is defined as "Something that you are trying to do or achieve"
It can also be a direction one needs to take to attain a desired outcome.
At some point in our lives, we will set new goals for ourselves.
Some will be for us to achieve better health, better education or a more fulfilling career. Often one goal will bring us to another goal that will help us attain the full and happy life we choose for ourselves.
We must also learn to recognize that some goals may not be as important to us as we first thought they would be. We need to let go of the ones that are no longer important.
Not achieving a goal is not a sign of failure but the actions taken towards that goal have become life learning steps.
Some choose January to set their goals but anytime is a good time.
We all have, knowingly or unknowingly, set goals for ourselves at some point in our lives.
Just remember that setting goals is a personal choice as well as the goals you choose to set.
