I recently took time to brainstorm these questions and came up with some answers:
Yes, the interest for this blog is definitely still here. The original purpose had fanned out maybe a little too much, so I needed to go back to the drawing board and review my original intentions.
I have been using tons of excuses why I do not have time to write or work on this site. Writing in general has to be a daily commitment even if it's only for a few minutes a day, which admittedly I need to practice.
This site has taken a few different roads in the past 4 plus years. The simple fact is that I had lost my newest site focus: "A site to help other beginning writers and work at home enthusiasts pick the hat that would fit them best" with a little levity, humor and motivating inspirations thrown in from time to time.
Many blog experts say don't make your site too busy but have plenty of pages and blog often. All great advice, but I feel that your blog or site also needs to express who you are.
This blog for now is still a work in progress as I share my creative time between this blog and Tidbits Books, other writing ventures and the 52 week art projects that I started back in August. This latest project is more like an art journal with emphasis on trying and practicing art with different medium. For me it is a stress reliever, a place where I can go and really be with myself.
Whenever you come across a problem with your blog site, your writing or any other creative avenue, do take time out to brainstorm.
Brainstorming, I feel, should be done on a regular basis, it is a great way to clear the cobwebs and find solutions to your possible problems in daily life and in creative projects. Brainstorming can also help rejuvenate the overall creative juices but don't forget to always follow with actions.
I welcome any questions, sharing or comments you may have.

seek out and fill your mind with the FACTS; write down ideas,
both sensible and seemingly wild; let the facts and ideas simmer in your mind; evaluate,
recheck, settle on the creative ideas."~ Bruce Lee
