Why Are We Afraid to go for Our Dreams?
Years ago I wanted to launch a blog and yes I was afraid. I read about blogging, how to set one up and after months of tweaking, I was still debating when would be the perfect time to launch. But as I checked it one more time, I clicked what I thought was the save button but instead I had pushed the launch button.
Oh, what had I done? After the feeling of panic passed, there it was, my first blog for the world to see and to my surprise, my site and the internet were still standing.
Since then I have done several websites and blogs. One blog actually crashed twice, but I built it back up under a different website platform. Some sites, came and went as they were testing grounds for different niches that I was interested in but did not quite work out. These attempts became part of my learning curve. As they say "Learning by Doing".
By writing blogs, I soon realized that I enjoy writing, so I just finished the first draft to my first book.
The whole idea is not to be afraid to put yourself out there, you may fail at some of those dreams, but that's OK, you'll never know what you can do and conquer until you really try.
Have the courage to go for those dreams!
I welcome any questions, sharing or comments you may have.
