Some pages are super simple while others pulled out more of my creative juices. I even called out my inner child to help with a little finger painting.
But all in all it was a great learning experience that brought me joy and a quiet place to be with myself, it was a time and place were my monkey brain was not allowed to visit.
As I really enjoy art, I recently started a new smaller Art Journal with no set time limit on the pages. The idea is to do a little something in the journal every day so I can go to my Zen place daily.
Your own special place can probably be found by doing something that you really enjoy and that takes you to that quiet space we all need from time to time. It can often be reached by doing art, writing, knitting, crafting, reading, gardening and even cooking.
Do you have such a place to go too? Please share this place with us!
