As children, not having yet learned life's lessons our few choices were not always wise and often got us in trouble with the adult world. During those years most choices were made for us and responsibility was pretty much an unknown word.
Teenage years were the years were we knew more than the adults in our lives or so we thought. We tried to make our own choices while often overlooking the positive or negative affect of these choices. We would look to the adults in our lives to remedy our few bad choices and at times our lack of responsibility.
Along came adulthood with full responsibilities and choices often dictated by society, friends and family. Responsibilities and choices are two very different components of life.
Responsibilities are described as every day jobs, tasks and duties. Steps in life that if not completed or dealt with will often have a rolling snow ball affect.
Choices are the right or power to choose how you wish to do these daily tasks and how you want your life to be. It is never too late to create the changes that will allow you to make your own choices and have the life you choose to live.

"Here's what it all comes down to in the end: Choice.
Your choice, and not someone else's choice for you.
You can choose to adopt beliefs that empower you rather than simply inherit or
accept beliefs that entrap you."
